N2 Closed As More Rain Falls
The N2 between George and Knysna has been closed due to flooding. Western Cape Traffic Authorities say the road has been damaged at Sedgefield. They have advised motorists and drivers to make use of the alternative road through Uniondale over the Outeniqua Pass.

Emergency services in the Southern Cape have another busy day ahead. Yesterday at least six hundred people had to be evacuated from their homes due to flooding. Various rivers have burst their banks and several roads have been closed.
It's believed the road is covered in 300 milimetres of water.
It's understood 150 cars are stranded.
