Sedgefield Veld Fire Under Control

A veld fire that started on a private smallholding in Rondevlei Heights between Sedgefield and Wilderness this morning has been brought under control, according to SA National Parks officials.

The Knysna and Sedgefield fire departments called SANParks for help when strong berg winds fanned the flames, but by 11am parks firefighters withdrew from the scene.
