September promises much enchantment for lovers of ballet as the Knysna/Sedgefield Hospice Fundraising Committee will host its annual Season of the Ballet.
Hospice urges residents and visitors to support the performance of the newly re-structured South African Mzanzi Ballet.
Established in July 2012 following the merger between The South African Ballet Theatre (SABT) and Mzansi Productions, South African Mzansi Ballet (SAMB) is the country's largest and most prestigious professional ballet company.
SAMB is a non- profit, Section 21 company. The company consists dancers skilled in both classical and contemporary dance.
Performances will take place at the Dutch Reformed Church hall in Fitchat Street on Friday September 21, a matinee at 15:00 and an evening performance at 19:30.
On Saturday, September 22 there will only be a matinee performance at 15:00.
