-       Volstruis vertakking vanaf uitbroei- tot slagfase: Voeding, Versorging en Bestuur

-       Wyndruiwe produksie

-       Lusernverbouiing, produksie en oes, asook grondbewerking, saai en stroop van ander gewasse

-       Groente verbouing en Saadproduksie: hoofsaaklik uie- en wortelsaad

-       Groot- en kleinveeproduksie

-       Goeie kennis van besproeiing stelsels en bemestingsprogramme

-       Goeie meganiese kennis vir onderhoud en instandhouding van alle masjienerie en geboue

-       Uiteensetting/opstel van begroting tesame met deurlopende finansiële bestuur van inkomstes en uitgawes teenoor die begroting

-       Verantwoordelikheid neem van alle finasiele aspekte van die boerdery

-       Uitbreidings geleenthede kan identifiseer en ontwikkel

-       Rekenaarvaardighede, Administrasie en Akkurate rekordhouding

-       Goeie menseverhoudings en moet personeel kan dryf en bestuur

-       Algemene netheid van plaas, geboue, masjienerie, toerusting en gereedskap

-       Rapportering aan Raad van Trustees

 

‘n Toepaslike tersiêre kwalifikasie met ondervinding sal u aansoek versterk. 

Voorkeur sal gegee word aan persone met minstens 7 jaar bewese ondervinding.

Factory Manager - George2016-04-22

Requirements

·         A minimum of 10 years working experience in the food processing industry  (experience in the red meat processing industry is advantageous)

·         A minimum of 5 years managerial experience in a factory manager role

·         Understanding of food industry and retailer audit requirements.

·         A Degree/Diploma in Production/Operations

·         A good understanding of quality assurance, procedures and protocols.

·         Must be computer literate (essential)

·         Authorised to work in South Africa on a long term basis

·         Fluency in English is a requirement for the position. Other native African languages are an added advantage but not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

The factory manager will provide direct oversight, leadership and direction to the factory in all areas of responsibility, including:

·         Production planning

·         Staff management

·         Operations management

·         Logistics and distribution

·         Product quality control

·         Health and safety standards adherence

·         Packaging

·         Equipment Maintenance.

Production Manager - Mossel Bay2016-04-14

Main  Areas of Responsibility:

Plan and Schedule the Manufacturing and Packing of Products within set QUALITY parameters. Maximize the utilization of all resources available to production. Supply Marketing department with finished goods, on time and within specifications. Management of raw materials requirements and stock, inclusive of containers/packaging. Add value and contribute to the overall company strategy and success.

 

Key Performance Areas

 

1.      Contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation

2.      Manage business risks which may occur in the organisation

3.      Manage the overall manufacturing function in the organisation, as defined above

4.      Manage and develop production department in line with company vision, mission and values

5.      Effective and efficient management of human resources in the production department

6.      Ensure that all stakeholders are treated in line with the Company vision, mission and values

7.      Ensure that a professional image is created of the business and its products

8.      Build constructive relationship with Marketing Department

9.      Ensure that all the production department is compliant with all regulatory requirements, i.e. BCEA, LRA, OHSAct etc.

10.   Ensure that good Corporate Governance is practiced at all times in the above department

11.   Manage Product Quality Control and Quality Assurance functions and oversee the standards and procedures in the organisation, including documenting, implementing and controlling of procedures.

 

12.   Compile and control Product Master Documentation

 

13.   Oversee the Laboratory and perform audits on product batch documentation and GMP

 

14.   Stay abreast of relevant statutory and regulatory requirements and changes, ensuring that processes and products are compliant.

 

15.   Assist and control new product development process.

 

16.   Consult with production regarding best practice and ensure that high standards are maintained.

 

17.   Control, audit and manage technical relationship with 3rd party suppliers.

 

18.   Ensure that technical data of all products are accurate at all times.

 

19.   Assist all departments by providing technical support to customers and staff.

 

20.   Contribute to the overall strategy of the organisation.

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Grade 12 Certificate and relevant Diploma / Degree in Cosmetology
  • 5 years experience in manufacturing (3 years cosmetic manufacturing)
  • Valid drivers licence and own transport
  • Excellent people skills
  • Must be able to plan effectively and be very structured by nature
  • Must work flexible hours based on production needs – no overtime payable
  • Bilingual
  • Good understanding of the Cosmetic industry as well as formulatory environment is essential
  • Good knowledge of GMP and Regulatory environment is essential
  • Must communicate well and carry the professional image of the business

    Matric with Maths and English literate. 1 year experience at a supervisory management level. proficiency with office computer equipment and software.

    HR MANAGEMENT

    • Participate; provide input in recruitment and selection process of new employees & promotions.
    • Manage, monitor and assist with employee development and training.
    • Ensure relevant company policies, procedures, regulations and standards are accessible to all employees, as well as explained to staff and signed on file and enforced.
