Elvis Blue's SAMA-winning, platinum-selling second album, Journey, hits the shelves this Friday 13 July. Fans have been awaiting his second album for quite some time, and since Universal music announced its release date, the excitement has built up into quite a frenzy.

The first single from the album, Lifeline is currently rocketing up music charts and has already been playlisted on radio stations across the country. Lifeline has also had the highest debut entry in South Africa's national media charts in its first week of release. "I have had such a great time working on this album. My hope is that all who have supported me thus far will truly enjoy the end result and relate to the songs on it," Blue said.

Elvis collaborated with some of the best songwriting talent in the business on Journey. In February of this year, Elvis Blue travelled to Los Angeles to write new material with some of America's most successful contemporary songwriters, including Pam Sheyne (Christina Aguilera, Seal, Jessica Simpson), Jeff Franzel (Josh Groban, Taylor Dayne) and Richard Harris (Jordan Sparks, Kelly Clarkson, Lady Antebellum). The result of this creative process is an arsenal of brilliant tracks that will enthral fans in true Elvis Blue-style.
