Nineteen of Knysna’s businesses, under the banner of the Knysna Business Connection in association with the Knysna Chamber of Business, put their products on display at two trade shows, Hostex 2012 in Cape Town and World of Events 2012 in Johannesburg.

In Cape Town the 130 exhibitors had the opportunity to display their wares to some 5 000 national and international buyers from the hospitality industry.

Two months later the trade show in Johannesburg offered a Trade Only section for wholesalers and distributors of corporate gifts and a World of Events, showcasing suppliers to the special events industry which incorporates the meetings, conferences, incentive travel and team building service providers.

Over a three-day period more than 11 000 national and international marketing and purchasing decision-makers visited the 270 exhibitors.
