Word of Life Worship Centre is inviting all churches to attend a first time event in Mossel Bay. A proposed gospel music festival will be hosted on 10 November at the Extension 23 sport ground, next to the Alma Clinic.
Starting at 09:00, the event will continue until late.
The purpose of the event is to pray for storms facing Mossel Bay and to uproot drugs, alcohol abuse, domestic violence, school drop-out, early pregnancy, poverty and for Mossel Bay to be united under the name of Jesus, more, to pray for the youngsters and economic growth in Mossel Bay.
National artists that will be performing live on the day will be Sfiso Ncwane, Hlengiwe Mhlaba, Thobekile, Sgwili, Patrick Duncan from Joyous Celebration, Nhlakanipho Cele from 'I want to sing gospel', Tina Zungu, Pastor Tywaku, Sindile Godongwana from Cape Town and Phumla from 'Lord Comforters'.
The preacher of the day is the evangelist Sphamandla Hlatshwayo from KZN. All church leaders are invited to join in prayer for an hour from 13h45 - 14h45 to pray for challenges faced in Mossel Bay.
Tickets for this event will be sold at Computicket at Shorprite/Checkers at R100 per person and R50 for children under 12 years. Tickets will be on sale from the first week of September.
Local artists who want to perform at the event must attend the auditions, held at Imekhaya hall on Sunday, 9 September at 14:00.
Those who would like to sell food, cool drinks, snacks, take photos and more at the event, are also invited to register on 9 September at 16:00 at Imekhaya hall. Unemployed youth volunteers for cleaning also need to attend this meeting at Imekhaya hall.
The event is already approved by Mossel Bay Municipality and the organisers would like to thank the following role players for their support during preparations for the event: Fire Department, Traffic Department, SAPS, Metro Ambulance, Department of Health, ADT, Mossel Bay Municipality, EdenFm and Gospel Gold SABC 1.
