The George Arts Theatre is a 217 seater theatre in the heart of George and plays host to international stars as well as homegrown amateur theatre, from plays, musicals, popular acts and musicians, to movie nights (every 2nd of the month) and pantomime.

We hold regular social evenings that consist of play readings, music and dance excerpts, quizzes, story telling and many other theatre related items. A number of full length productions are held throughout the year and every other December the Society’s pantomime is one of the town’s most popular holiday attractions.
