The 2018 Antique & Classic Boatshow will again be held on the lawn and jetties of Thesen Harbour Town on Saturday 6th October. Boats will be in position from 10am.

Boat sales from the show and new builds and restorations currently underway will refresh the stock of classic craft on view. Entry is free and everyone is welcome.

Knysna has a rich history of boat building dating back to 1831 when the first ship to be build from wood in the surrounding forest was launched. It was a twin mast, 73 foot brig, approprately named "Knysna". The boat was build by George Rex to trade between Knysna and Cape Town.

The 6th Annual Knysna, Antique & Classic Boat show will be held on Saturday 6th October from 10am - 4pm in Thesen Harbour Town. 

Proceeds from the show will support the Knysna Basin Project team who work tirelessly to ensure our estuary remains a vibrant and healthy environment for all.
