The Calitzdorp Winter Festival, formerly known at the Calitzdorp Port and Wine Festival, is a celebration of the town's rich cultural heritage. Each year, visitors from all over South Africa flock to Calitzdorp for a weekend-long event of family fun, food, and of course, a whole lot of port-drinking.

Festival-goers can expect a jam-packed programme of family-friendly adventures, fine dining, live entertainment and port sampling. The weekend starts off with an 'Amazing Race' competition, which shall see teams of two racing around the town, solving puzzles and completing tasks. Movie-lovers can enjoy a night under the stars with an outdoor screening of classic films and blockbusters.
