This year, The George Arts Theatre stages the hit musical, Little Shop of Horrors with a superb cast of actors form the George area.

The show revolves around a young Botanical genius, Seymour Krelborn who works at Mushnik's Skid Row florist with the beautiful Audrey. Audrey is abused by her Sadistic Dentist boyfriend who becomes an attractive food source for Audrey II, a plant which Seymour finds during a total eclipse of the sun.

The plant, a cross between Jaws and a Venus flytrap, starts small, and grows as the show progresses to finally fill the stage!

The play carries a PG rating because of the rather dark themes which the show deals with. It is highly entertaining, with toe tapping music from the 50's.
