Garden Route National Park

It encompasses the world renowned Tsitsikamma, Wilderness and Knysna areas, a variety of mountain catchments, indigenous forests and fynbos areas, all valued for their diverse natural and cultural heritage.

Karoo National Park

Karoo National ParkThe Great Karoo is a vast and unforgiving landscape of which the Karoo National Park is but a small portion. Being the largest ecosystem in South Africa, the Karoo is home to a fascinating diversity of life, all having adapted to survive in these harsh conditions.

Karoo National Park is dominated by the lofty Nuweveld Mountains and rolling plains, where many species that originally occurred here now once again occupy their former ranges.

Cape Mountain ZebraWhat was once known for being a convenient, single-night stopover for weary travellers between the Cape and inland, has become a Park offering a multitude of activities enticing guests to want to stay longer.

A mountain bike trail, guided and un-guided walks, a selection of 4x4 trails, guided game drives, breathtaking landscapes and an array of plant and animal life now sees guests specifically planning visits to Karoo National Park.


Bontebok National Park

Bontebok National ParkBontebok National Park is a place of simplistic beauty and peaceful charm. The majestic Langeberg Mountains near Swellendam provide a picturesque backdrop for this Park of colorful riches.

A great day-visit location, the park is the perfect place to spend time with the family or friends, when in the surrounding area of Swellendam and surrounding towns. Enjoy a picnic on the banks of the Breede River, or braai at one of the designated braai spots.

Chalet accommodation is available, as well as camping facilities, ideal for birding vacations or a self-drive game viewing excursion.  Also visit Die Stroom function centre on the banks of the Breede River.
