Mossel Bay was abuzz with Blackbirds this past weekend. The Blackbird Association caters for owners with the same biking interests and one of those common interests is their bike, the CBR 1100 XX.

A total of 33 Blackbird owners gathered for the official photo of this weekend's gathering in Mossel Bay.

The association represents Blackbird owners from the length and breadth of South Africa including a few further a-field and there are no restrictions to membership.

Their flagship event is the annual national Blackbird gathering which takes place during October every year. They have now had four successful gatherings in three different towns, Aliwal North (2008, 2009), Philipolis (2010) and Fouriesburg (2011).

Mossel Bay proudly hosted the group this past weekend at the Santos Express.
