It is the EDEN district’s opportunity to host the ALL CAPE Bowling Tournament. Every year, this prestigious Lawn Bowling Tournament is host by the various districts within the Cape province. 

The tournament will be held over 2 weeks. The ladies will compete from 7th April to 13th April. The men will compete from 14th April to 20th April.

The Plettenberg Bay Bowling Club is proud to be co-hosting the event by providing at least 2 greens to be included in the East of Eden section.

With prize money of R 100,000 up for grabs, we can be assured of the country’s top teams participation in the competition. It is anticipated that around 1200 players from across South Africa will be entering the tournament.

The format of the games will ensure that competitors will rotate between clubs ,which will ensure that no team will be unfairly advantaged by playing at a single venue and to allow for the challenge of playing in different conditions. There is no doubt, that if you are a bowling enthusiast, then this tournament will be well worth following.

It will be a fantastic opportunity for players and supporters to explore all that this paradise, that we call PLETT, has to offer.
