Bok van Blerk is back with a brand new album, titled Hoor Ons !, and, as usual, songs on this album will stir heartstrings, give fans a proud patriotic feeling and sometimes make them laugh. On Hoor Ons! Bok again testifies to his love for the country.

Fourteen years have passed since Bok's massive hit, De La Rey, was released in 2006 and in the years that followed, he made audiences' hearts beat proudly with subsequent hits such as Ons Vir Jou Suid-Afrika, Sing Afrikaner Sing, Afrikaner Hart, Kaplyn, Tyd Om Te Trek and Land Van Melk En Heuning. Bok also spoiled his fans with upbeat hits such as Vodka en OJ, 68 Chevy, Koue Voete and the more recent hit with Apple, Lemoene. With six albums already released, he also boasts nearly half a million album sales and several awards - such as a SAMA in 2010 for his album Afrikanerhart, which won bestseller in 2009.

With more than 212,000 Facebook fans, 173,000 followers on Twitter and 102,000 followers on Instagram, it proves Bok's popularity among Afrikaans music lovers and is still one of the major draws in prestigious productions such as Afrikaans is Groot, attended by nearly 100 000 concertgoers annually.
