It’s time to KNIT A SQUARE for the kids at the Dorothy Broster (The Child Welfare Organization). It’s mid-winter and having an extra blanket will make a world of difference

On the 23rd of June (9 am-3 pm), at the Thesen Island Oyster Fest Fair, we’re hosting a knitting charity drive. Come and knit a square to contribute to making blankets. 

Donate a ball of wool or two (before the event on the 23rd of June)
Including any type of wool incl. offcuts

Monday-Friday: 7:30am-4pm

Knit a Square on the day (Sun 23rd June) from 9am-3pm
Bring your ball of wool and knitting needles and knit a square to contribute to the blankets
OR
Bring R30 and knit using our wool and needles

There will be a fabulous group of knitting/ crocheting PROS to teach you a simple knitting technique OR to start you on the first line of your square. 

Bring a camping chair and a flask of tea, coffee + rusks and enjoy some social time while knitting/crocheting for the Dorothy Broster kids. 
Shade (a gazebo for you to sit under) will be provided
