Lorelei Guest House is a newly renovated Karoo-style farmhouse in the middle of George. Its title deed goes all the way back to 1835 and the original section of the house dates from not long after this. That makes Lorelei one of the oldest houses in George! There are a few of these houses dotted over Bodorp that were built as “nagmaal huisies” for the farmers to use during nagmaal. Today it is a modern contemporary house that is rooted in the simplicity of yesteryear. It is centrally located and within walking distance of many amenities, shops and schools.
