Opera Angels is a unique musical duo based in South Africa. Dr Lisa Engelbrecht (Soprano and Pianist) and Lindsay Thomson (Mezzo-Soprano), create unique performances of opera classics, sacred music, Broadway hits, and their own arrangements of some truly beautiful contemporary classics.

Lisa is a renowned musician whose work has led her all over the world. She combines being Operatic Vocal Coach at the prestigious UCT Opera School with her performing career.

Lindsay has also worked in South Africa and Europe, as part of opera companies and with her own classical crossover shows.

Opera Angels have brought their distinctive collaboration to a variety of wonderful venues across South Africa, as well as on the high seas aboard the exclusive Queen Victoria. They are excited to share their love of music and song with you.
