Every parent sooner or later has to answer the question: “Which school do I send my child to?” The choice you exercise will undoubtedly affect your child’s future development – either adding or detracting from his/her future opportunities. And yes, it is a fact – no longer can any parent merely accept that all schools offer quality education we want for our children and which all children deserve.
Let me introduce to you Wittedrift High – the small school with the HUGE heart. Situated in the beautiful Bitou valley on the banks of the river alongside Plettenberg Bay, our school is a combined, fully integrated, dual medium school of 440 learners – a school with a proud history of 152 years. During these years, the staff and parents have consistently prided themselves on the excellent education provided to all children entrusted to their care, whatever the circumstances.
Being a small school in terms of learner numbers has endowed us with the opportunity of offering each one of our learners the benefit of being known and regarded as a unique individual – not only as a number or face in a multitude.
